See, the way I see it - if EA doesn't do something about it soon, they will lose a lot of faithful players. Especially if there's a similar game playing elsewhere.

Why? Because this TRULY was an unfair move. I purchased the shop for 25D. But I still think it's unfair to those who were unable to take advantage of the deal, but were WILLING TO PURCHASE DONUTS in order to buy this shop.

This is an INTANGIBLE ASSET - a virtual drawing on a computer screen, and something that, even if you 'buy it' you still won't 'own' anything!

Cut your 'losses' EA, and lower the price back down to 25D. I'd venture to guess that you won't lose anything, and instead, will gain all those purchases that you MOST DEFINITELY will lose if you leave it at that price.

Plus... you'll gain back the trust of those who feel cheated. And rightly so.

And just keep in mind: The players who feel cheated are, for the most part, DONUT BUYING PLAYERS. (They had to get the donuts in order to buy the building.) Right?

Think about it!!!

You just bit the hand who feeds you!!!

Thank you for reposting that, mwdalton. I thought it was lost for good. Obviously, the first part doesn't make sense if they haven't read the title of the hidden thread. But for those of you who are wondering, the title included a blocked-out, foul, four-letter word. So unnecessary, because you can get your point across without it.

I've heard that there are players who truly feel cheated about the costly price change. There are those who've said that they're deleting their entire town. It doesn't make sense to allow this ONE SHOP to wreak havoc like this.

Especially since the gypsy shop and Maude have been FREE before!!

I stand by the post that mwdalton copied and pasted. Even though I, unknowingly, benefited from the glitch, I truly feel that it wasn't fair to everyone else.
