Fox should have thought about that before they decided to prevent anyone outside the U.S being able to watch it online. I'd sit through the adverts happily given the choice. But no, it can be AGES before it airs abroad. So, in summation, * 'em.richardaca969 wrote:

The problem is that US advertisers are not all that keen to pay for non-US viewers, either because they don't exist in other countries or because they're doing local promotions or it'd just be complicated to mention pricing etc. It's why when I find a site that DOES stream to other countries, they often have ad breaks consisting of the same ad played every single time (often twice in a row), because they simply don't have more than one or two ads flagged as playable in my country.
The other reason is the crusty old distribution and licensing systems are geared towards staggered release (because in the past it meant they could print fewer copies and just move them around), and because different companies have licensing rights in different areas. The systems really haven't caught up to the digital age yet.
I'm not trying to say that this is a good thing, of course. It sucks, but I know why it happens.danejm wrote:
How is the question unfair when you can immediately pull up the answer online (before the episode airs no less?)
I assume OP means "unfair" to people who cannot legally watch the show and don't use the internet to get spoilers.orionsbell wrote:
Could you please explain what trivia question you're talking about?
The one that should hit tomorrow :-)- I use this site: http://simpsonswiki.com/wiki/The_Simpsons:_Tapped_Out_Halloween_2014_content_update#Description they seem to get info from other sites and collate it
- Wait, what's the point of playing the game if you aren't a fan of the Simpsons? I don't care how great the playability was, I wouldn't be playing this game if it was based on wrestling characters or Snow White. I just don't understand the draw if you've never watched the Simpsons. It's just strange to me.
- If there only was some online gathering place, let's call it a forum, where people can go to do things like "discuss gameplay" and the likes to help players if they happen to live outside the U.S.
If only...
EDIT: Spelling. snowyriver32 wrote:
I personally think its unfair that the UK gets Downton Abbey in the fall
and the United States has to wait till January to watch it
so I can see why the OP might feel this way.
pmsl, in my house it is known as Downright Shabby. The real crime is that Supernatural season 9 onwards will never be aired in the UK.
