What little dialogue/quest that comes with placing the island actually *DOES* address why the island doesn't have snow on it, and I found that "answer" rather funny.

Will get the island in both my towns this week-end and so the RAT RACE, EA has provided as a Christmas event is finished for me.

I just got mine. I do wish there was a longer quest, like everyone goes to the island to get out of the cold. Or I go to a tropical island to get out of the cold. ;-)

Just got mine. I have a question though...does anyone have a task attached to it?

I'd love it to be more useful than just a decoration.

I never read about the quests because I like to have the surprise. So yesterday when I got the island Homer was busy and I was waiting for a quest to start today once Homer was free... Nothing happened so I made sure everyone was free...still nothing... I must say I am disappointed that there is no quest with the final prize. :cry:

It didn't prompt and I closed the app, I even went to my neighbours and to Krustyland....

Edit I stored it and now Homer has the quest, maybe it is because he was busy when I first placed it, but thanks a lot!

Edit 2... And Homer had a skin when I placed the island the first time...

Got the island!
That was an awful lot of tapping and zapping.
Good timing though- on the day the others were released!
