Truncated sound bites

I've had this happen to me too. It seems very reminiscent of a bug the Famipy Guy game seems to have...

They cut the sound clips if you scroll away while they are still playing.

This has never happened before the update on either of my games. I thought at first that tapping another character or the task assignmnent button was doing it, but it just happens sometimes when I haven't touched anything.

I think its a new feature. Normally when I super assign tasks I hear a lot of characters talking at once. I'm not sure if the cutoff is caused by a new character being selected or by the view moving to center on a different character.

It's not on that list, but sound clips definitely cut out when you scroll away from the character or building. Try it with the Rice Krispies one. Clips will still play over one another if you select one voiced character and quickly select a second voiced character while the first one is still playing.

It is on that list! Last item in the May 27 update.

Yep. It just started for me as well after the update. EA can't just fix one thing without breaking another. I find it very annoying as I seem to be in the minority who plays with the sound on. Not quite as annoying as the disappearing task box, but still. It reminds me of FG as well, which I deleted last December.

Please EA, don't remind me of Family Guy.

It's really bugging me because it makes the game look unfinished.
