Turn off building jobs

I wish you could turn off specific building jobs. Like the ones given by Ca$ino. I hate that certain buildings will circumvent the character’s job. It’s especially annoying if the building is taking over an animated job from the character. This happens if you’re using the employment office to mass select jobs. The employment office just selects the first job in the character cue and a lot of times it’s the building job. Right now I just store the buildings that do this.

Hey EA could you please add a switch to turn buildings that offer jobs off or at the very least, change those jobs to appear at the bottom of a character’s job cue? Thanks!!!
  • The unemployment office is a convenience, not an ideal. You have to accept what it chooses and live with it or you can task your characters manually and have everyone do exactly the jobs that you want.
  • I have well over 400 characters (415 last time I counted - several events ago!) and I want to SEE them, not have them hide in buildings. We need an employment button something along the lines of “all characters do animated task”.

    Yes, some characters have more than one. I have no problem if the first one on the list is the default.
  • Another nice feature would be to show a menu of characters who have tasks in a particular building, similar to how Moe's Express and some stages work. It'd be an easy way of animating buildings like the Sequel Stop, Stardust Drive-in etc.

    ...but no chance of that ever happening and it's way down my wishlist

    Me too. I stored the unemployment office and have always been happy with what my characters are doing ever since ;)
