UFO's ratio is horrible
Don't worry, once you have reduced ammo, they will pop up every where again :evil:

Did you find you needed to spend on ammo/gremaliens in order to complete things?
Tough to say. I'm a completionist. This game is mostly my only entertainment (I know, pretty sad). I also have a few really great long-time neighboreens with whom I get into dueling volleys. We spam each other with event items - nerd attacks during CoC, gremaliens now.
I'd likely be able to complete without spending, but since I spend there's no way to know...
