have a few really great long-time neighboreens with whom I get into dueling volleys. We spam each other with event items - nerd attacks during CoC, gremaliens now.
I can never afford to duel with you, but I sure appreciate the gremaliens :Djraffa50 wrote:

So as a completionist does that mean you buy everything released, no questions asked? I'm the opposite...I save up all of the donuts I collect and am very deliberate about when I make a purchase. So I'm just curious to how others play differently than I do.
Yes, as a completionist, I buy everything released for the game. I do follow the quests and play as its intended to be played, but I enjoy the social aspects almost more than building my town so I tend to spend more on things like ammo and gremaliens.
Nice. Since you like the social aspect and playing with friends, what did you think of the CoC feature where you could visit random towns? Is that something you liked?
I seriously hated CoC in my town - all of the CoC stuff is in my inventory except for a few torches. But the social parts were a lot of fun. Random visits were a lot of fun - I hope EA brings random visits back. Also had great duels with neighboreenos using cheaters :)neuroheart wrote:

I hated it too for many reasons. I think the random town thing took away from the neighbor interaction, something that could have made the event way more fun.jraffa50 wrote:

I've seen a few comments similar to yours. I didn't send a lot of nerds on random attacks - I spent nerds and cheaters on my good neighboreenos. But I did like visiting random towns. It was great to see other player's towns without having to friend them. I saw towns I likely never would have otherwise seen.XBL-Heretic wrote:

Yes that part was cool. I think in general they just botched the event. Besides the fact that it was completely random and not Simpsons related, whether it was a glitch or meant to be that way, it was structured so that interacting with your neighbors didn't actually mean anything. In fact, playing actually didn't seem to mean to much. I stayed away from the game through most of the event because there was no point.billdoors1533 wrote:
Same here I wish the UFO in my town would FO as well its more irritating than any helicopter flying around
there shouldnt be one in your town, only one apprars if you bought the ray gun, so then shooy it down for kodus- You get a UFO in your town until you buy the ray gun and shoot it down to get Kodos. If you don't do it he'll just fly around taunting you forever (or for about 10 days more, when the event ends).
- I avarage 1 ufo per two towns every day. It is not tied to gremaliens drop rate
