If it's a forum friend, I let it slide for awhile. I get more worried than anything if a forum regular hasn't played for a time, because it could likely mean something wrong with their game or something serious going on in their life . If it's a random friend, though, I have no way of knowing that they haven't given up on the game. I just deleted a few who hadn't played in a week or more.
