Update Glitch
What device are you on? Sounds like something else is robbing the space your OS needs to run properly. Try clearing up some space and get rid of any Apps you don't use.

It is possible that you have a corrupt file somewhere in the game files as I play across 3 different android devices and haven't had any issues, maybe try cleaning the cache, restart the device and if it still persists then a reinstall with a restart in between the uninstall and reinstall.
