I had changed the resolution so my game wasn't zoomed in really close. I changed it back and now I am able to download. I will have to see how it impacts the resolution once I am back in the game.

Sorry to hear you have this bug :( You could try contacting EA to get a rollback - it is at the start of this event so you wouldn’t be losing any progress, if you get a good rep then it could be dealt with fairly quickly.
