Oh dear Well this will be fixed soon being there talk & pictures about it
Yeah they're probably using floor() instead of ceiling() or some such. Oh, did I just tell them what to look for?- Still works. Just upgraded Homer to 2 stars.
- My reply is delayed but what I'm noticing is when you use the zero donut rush it still spends the amateur bucks you do have so this is kind of like a discount feature if it is not a bug. I'm inclined to think that if it were a bug then it would rush and not spend the amateur bucks. If you rush for 1 or more donuts does it spend amateur bucks too?
- If you don't have enough bucks you can spend donuts for the remaining amount, this includes all of your bucks that you have. This is not a glitch and you still spend all your bucks, unless you have zero bucks then it's 100% donuts (I think the maximum out of donuts is 16-19 that will get you upgraded to the next level)
- This is worth a bump. And to add something...
You can use this to not only get a 14 AB discount, but also to get a recharge, since upgrading recharges. The point being that you might be able to play a second game immediately. Example: You have 7 active players. Play tap-ball with 4; choose wisely. Now use the discount to upgrade one inactive player and you now have 4 active players for another game.
Same idea works with other combinations. Raven_Darkstorm wrote:
Interested to know all the details for when you report it to EA, and spoil it for everyone?

Seeing as rushing when it costs 1 or more donuts also spends your amateur bucks I'm not certain this is a bug like I have seen in other events. All that is happening is a discount. There isn't a infinite repeatable thing to take advantage of here. Because you have to have less and no more than 14 amateur bucks away that are needed to upgrade and the ones you do have are spent. Which means you need to gain more to repeat the 14 saved for zero donuts. I suspect the end result if we have every possible character than can earn amateur bucks this will only be a half dozen times one could use the save 14 for zero donuts. Unlike other events where one could sit there for an hour and gain currency that by design would have otherwise taken weeks or the whole event to get. This is why I don't think this is a bug.Raven_Darkstorm wrote:

I think it's a line of missed typed code, where they meant to say "round up" they said "round down", but I don't know much about programming so I'm probably wrong.- Anyone able to upgrade a second player immediately from this? I tried it twice in a row but got "spend 9 donuts" for the second one.

Not possible to get 0 donuts twice in a row immediately because the first time takes all your AB away!
