Yes. I believe so. I'm waiting on my roses to finish as well. This is similar to having to wait for the 24 hour build time before the Halloween 2013 event unlocked.

What happens when people are growing corn, do they loose it?
I was growing Corn in my 2nd town and had 60days left, when i logged in last night the corn had finished growing and the corn symbol was hovering over the farm :) So i grew corn in 20days and got the full payout 8)
So going by my 2nd game everyone who is growing corn should be fine it will just be grown for them :) (Hopefully anyway)
Awww, I wish I had grown corn too now. Was thinking about it. The payout and xp is ALOT!
Your not wrong there, thats the only reason to grow corn is the end payout :) Although if you grew 8hr or 24hr tasks at the farm you would receive way more over the 90days :lol:
I tried to count up the money / xp but there was so much and disappeared quickly it was difficult to count it :(
