I was playing my sim and she just started the social media career and I was doing the different interactions. She had 75 followers and then I uploaded a viral video and her followers skyrocketed to over 1 million. Is that suppose to happen? It just seemed extremely excessive to me.

Your sim needs to be at level nine of the Internet Personality branch to be able to upload the video.

I have a sim who is not even in the social media career who was able to upload a viral video. I think it became unlocked because of his charisma skill which is at level 10. When he did it, he gained 400K followers.

Hello :) It is great that you gained so many followers! When your sim reaches level 10 in the charisma skill, like what fullspiral said, you can upload viral videos.

I'm currently playing the career and have no clue how to upload a viral video lol. My sim only has about 1,600 followers
