Waiting for the Christmas Update...

so many people looking for rhyme and reason where there is none. :mrgreen:

Ok guys, get ready. I accidentally just sent Kang to probe Homer for a day and a half, so the update--inevitably triggered by Homer--should start in about five minutes :x

The update last year released on Tuesday December 10th, so we may have to wait until next week for it.

The last Christmas was my first major event. I enjoyed it a lot. I liked everything except the wheel. So I hope it is similar.

I like when they do that. For those of us who have loads of time, it's easy to tear through the event at warp speed and then wait for this event to end. I DO hope, if they do that and if limited time items are placed in the store, , that the event either reveals upfront what is being sold later, or at least leaves all the first round's items in the store until the event ends.

Last Christmas you could give your friends gift bags that would drop into their town. Most of the time the event currency was inside but I think it was possible to get a spin token. Not sure though.
