Christmas Update 2013 :)

So excited for the Christmas update!! I thought it would be released on Dec 1st since they released Halloween so early! Keeping my fingers crossed for tonight Dec, 3rd at 20:00 (Sweden, GMT+1)

When was the Christmas update released last year? I guess we can expect the same date?

5th December 2012 was the last xmas event release date.

halloween update was released in the evening (gmt time) makes sense in us most are at school. I am at work so good thing it wasnt released yet

I think its going to be today when they remove the Thanksgiving stuff. So the next few hours, hopefully.

I cant see them removing the thanksgiving stuff only, it makes sense for the xmas update to happen at the same time.

I hate this time of TSTO when I don't know how long to put characters on tasks just before an update...

should I go with 4-6 hr tasks or 8hrs? and then if no update, 12hr tasks before bed :?:<??> :?:
I always get caught with my proverbial character's pants down right before an update...

I'm keeping mine on hourlies. If there's no update by bedtime, I'll put them on their usual 8-hour overnights. No sense them ending sooner if I'm not awake to get the update.

I almost ALWAYS have my 67 characters on one-hour tasks when I'm on all day. but I just sent the 59 characters it would allow into Luigi's Restaurant for some 8hour quest that only required 20 people. Doh! Figured it would make for a cool screencap from one of my feeder towns 8 hours from now when they all finish their task. Plus, I wanted them out of the way, since I'm literally moving my entire town around, so everybody's indoors and I'm not putting the Casino on top of Fat Tony playing the violin. Forgot all about the update. :oops:
