Bonus donuts are just that a bonus not you right to get them. What EA chooses to do and the effect it has on getting donuts is entirely their choice/oversight, so stop complaining and be grateful that we get any at all.

I'm quite surprised of your answer. I just want to give an opportunity for people like me who feel like having back our previous chance to have donuts can voice our opinion. You are probably among those who kept writing donuts are too easy now we have too many etc... But I do not agree with it and thought it would be good for people who felt like me to also have a chance to voice our opinion. Yes I bought donuts too but Bonuts always makes me feel more inclined in buying more premium buildings /items so I will be more inclined in buying more donuts. Removing virtually all our chance to get donuts during this event due to glitches or designs is discouraging for me, probably not as much for those who can spend thousands of real money on the game. I hope people who feel like me can speak up too so EA won't feel like it is a consensus that every player finds its too easy to get donuts now. Thanks.

We certainly will be "losing" donuts for this event, from the perspective of opportunity cost (I've gotten very little donuts from daily tasks due to all the event currency rewards). Not complaining or feeling a sense of entitlement, but like the OP I am certainly feeling the lack of donuts/bonuts this event.

There is no need of sarcasm. Maybe you guys are still getting donuts. For me, my friend visits won't give donuts from tapping bandits, my Maggie is glitched, Railyard is limited cause my characters are doing event jobs, daily challenges give event currency, sideshow you wasn't giving donuts, so tbh I haven't seen donuts almost since the event started (maybe only once for daily challenge reward before the mystery box) in the past 2 weeks. It is really good for you if you are still getting lots of donuts. But it is totally different for me. We just had an event where everyone had tons of Bonuts? I didn't have a lot. Was it a glitch I missed? Anyway, this is so strange. Sounds like I'm the only one not getting almost any donut since the event started? Everyone is still having tons of them? Then no wonder EA needs to nerf it. Thanks for your input. But if it is the contrary, please voice too so I know I'm not the only one who had almost no donuts for the past 2 weeks. Thanks

While i understand what's OP trying to say i can't agree on everything he pointed out.
Yes daily challenges are mostly event prizes and switching the tasks so far gave me only money substitutes and friend visits didnt give me any donut. But maggie and rail yard are still working and easy enough to complete and we do get bonuts in this event, yes only 3 per act but they are there. So the complaint here is kinda invalid.

Don't we get enough free donuts from cleaning garbage, friend visits, daily challenges, Where's Maggie, and the Rail Yard? Joking aside, (I know not everybody has the Rail Yard and the Play-Doh factory), we have a lot more options to earn free donuts now. I'm guessing EA felt bonuts were pointless at this point, which was a pretty stupid move.

I wasn't trying to sarcastic, I'm actually agreeing that there's less donuts for this event than compared to no event at all. I am indeed missing the fact that I can usually reliably get donuts from the daily task but now most of them seem to be for what appears to be excessive event currency.

No hate to those clever enough to game the system, but perhaps event-based bonuts got (fingers-crossed, temporarily) canned in response to Monsarno-level exploits. They are probably (hopefully) just playing it safe.

On a seperate note: We need REBATES! I swear I'd take a deal for two donuts off Belle or Lurleen. As a Freemo, I just wanna feel like they cut me a deal.

My daily task for May 1st was "tap 20 bandits for 60 clues", I skipped that challenge, I was then awarded a challenge for Ned to power walk. Payout was 6 donuts, for a 1 hour task. EA has been extremely generous the past 3-4 months.

we were spoiled for quite a while with bonuts and some people grow to expect them. even with the relatively lesser amount we've been getting lately it still makes premiums less expensive. premiums are relatively inexpensive compared to other games. events are also giving us new buildings and skins for characters. i have no problem purchasing donuts for things i want

it's the friends ones I'm missing. No real incentive to visit neighbours after you have collected all the event currency as it takes so long to do.

cancelled a 'get axes' task today (as I have a ton already).... got a 6 donut task to grow tomacco (30 min)... nice return for 1/2 hour :mrgreen: keep those coming.

I'm on 6 tasks in a row with no donuts. The last one was just a measly 1 donut. I wonder if its even worth cancelling these because it make the bonus take longer to get.
