We need PALM TREES!

True that! Springfield is apparently located within a couple hours of both a Canyon, desert (with saguaro cacti), ocean, forest, snow capped mountain, and metropolis. The only place I know like that in the world is California (but I think Groening meant to make Springfield in nearby Oregon)

The Pimento Grove is supposed to have palm trees around it as well

Although now that I think about it, it also snows in Springfield in the winter, so that means Big Bear Lake California is the only feasible location for Springfield. If not for the nearby Saguaro cacti, parts of New Zealand or Spain might possibly work...

I've been saying this for a while. We need picnic tables.
