They do the 1 a day thing with Theme Park. That game also allows you to earn a lot of tickets various ways. They should use that idea, but since they are making so much with this game, they have no reason to.

Yes, but TP has no real audience. Sure people play it. But Simpsons is basically a much large audience and more fanatical and will spend $$ on it, so why would they give much more for free. I'd love any of the OPs suggestions, but not holding my breath.

Could they not give you the possibility of getting a donut or two when you go visit a friend and tap on a building? They wouldn't be giving away too many and it would give players the chance of getting more to add to their count whilst encouraging visiting friends. I also like the idea of watching videos in exchange for donuts, as said, a lot of games give you the chance to gain premium currency/items this way.

Apparently the daily play bonus is none existent... :/

They could do alot of things. But they won't do any of them until they start losing customers. It will be a way to try to draw them back. But right now they don't need to.

Bottom line, you can play the game for free if you want. You can also pay if you want. I dont see reason for debating which is better than the other-to each his own, or her own. :lol:

It's not a case of who or what is better. Everyone just wants to enjoy the game the best way they can. We are just chewing the fat.
