Usually it's to say that they are done with the event and don't need their neighbors help. Or to say they're not playing, defending buildings, or other helpful stuff to neighbors

I have not been visiting. I'm sorry. There are a few reasons (like school, crashes whenever I try, and a trip to the ER yesterday. I'm okay, there's no cause to worry.) but I'm still sorry, and hopefully I can get back to visiting fairly regularly. I'll do my best to keep my town free for raiding in the meantime. You're all great and I miss you!

Funny thing, I too was in the ER. But it was on Sunday night. I took a chain saw to my left index finger. No worries, my tapping finger is my right index finger. Oh, and the other finger just needed stitches. No major damage.

Go ahead and attack the brown houses to the far right of either town; I won't defend. The auto-scrolling always seems to take people to the center of the other residential area, so random invaders seem to be attacking them instead of the browns.

While it is a good idea, the name not in the title isn't helpful. With each person adding, the name of the post changes. Therefore one would have to scroll through what would become numerous pages.

The thread I create for my neighbors will be reused if I need to communicate with them again.

I have been extra busy since the new update hit. I'm self employed and really don't have a schedule or days off. I think I've been a great neighbor over the years and pretty much visit everyone as much as I can, which is usually daily, but this event if more complicated and the payoffs are better on the random invaders. I'm still trying to visit when I can just to say hi more than anything. I hope it's ok if I'm not around as much in your towns right now but it really doesn't benefit anyone at this point, it's just a politeness and I am polite so as soon as I'm done raiding and get my personal prizes hopefully I'll be back to visiting all of you each day. I also have 4 feeder towns I try and tend to and it's no easy feat with the clash of clans update. I'd hate to lose any of my friends but my real life needs some attention right now too.

BUMPing this thread to the front page. Events are always littered with personal-message threads, and an omnigatherum always made more sense to me. If other players don't continue to bump this thread froward (and, yes, I'm brandishing my battle axe at you), I'll be forced to bump this thread every day going forward. Please don't make me put actual effort into this game!
