I started playing in June, so I didn't get the pub either, but I would have been willing to pay donuts for it. I feel like the developers would have made long term players happier by giving a new item for dollars and the old items for donuts, so if somebody really wanted them they would have to pay. As it is, I probably won't be buying either of the premium items. Although I may end up getting the cafe before the time is up.
