What changed with the Mystery Box Upgrade and Easter 2015 updates?

Yes it was nice getting the extra doughnuts for completion but it would be nice to have some tasks to do. How does everyone else feel or do you actually buy doughnuts with real money so can afford the Easter bunny and the Easter God?

This is just a mini-event. Last year's full-blown Easter event was so traumatic that EA chose to skip it this year to avoid problems. They re-released the prizes to appease those who missed it (or didn't get what they wanted), and to squeeze more donuts out of people.
