What Changed With the Treehouse of Horror XXVII and "Havana Wild Weekend" Updates? (Update: 11/9)

Am I nuts or has the scrolling changed? I used to swipe quickly (on iOS) and the screen would keep sliding, like it was on ice - but now it seems to have the brakes on. Not a big deal, just wondering.

Not sure if it's intentional or lag from the added effects
