- Baby Gerald's description was changed from "First appearance Season 5, Episode 19" to "From "Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baadasssss Song" (Season 5, Episode 19)".
- In Poles Apart, Bart's dialogue "But you said to come ride the Polar Express!" was changed to "But you said to come ride the Cold Train!".
- The Most Dangerous Game's Thanksgiving Balloon Bundle's description was changed from "Includes Bart, Snowball2, Stampy and The Grumple balloons!" to "Includes Bart, Snowball II, Stampy and The Grumple balloons!".
- The Cauldron was removed from the Halloween Mystery Box.
- If the user got the Cauldron from the Halloween Mystery Box, a message appears: "That Cauldron from the Halloween Mystery Box probably wasn't what you expected, so here are your 50 Donuts back!" and 50 donuts are awarded back. This was due to complaints about people expecting Marge the Witch skin to be unlocked with the Cauldron (though the items were separated last year).
- Chances for the Halloween Mystery Box were changed:
- Spider Willie was changed from 0.9% to 10%.
- Nightmare Pile was changed from 18.1% to 20%.
- Radioactive Milhouse was changed from 27.2% to 30%.
- Sepulcher of Evil was changed from 36.3% to 40%.
- Squirrel Luann was changed from 45.4% to 50%.
- Acorn Kirk was changed from 54.5% to 60%.
- Donut Torture Device was changed from 72.7% to 70%.
- The Grand Pumpkin was changed from 81.8% to 80%.
- Devil Flanders was changed from 90.9% to 90%.
- Meteor Egg w/Space Marshmallow was changed from 99.9% to 100%.
- Spider Willie was changed from 0.9% to 10%.
- A bug making Lord Montymort stuck in the Magic Academy Ruins was fixed.
October 17th Update (Server Update)
- Act 2 and 3 Prize costs were raised:
- Crawl's Bar w/Crawl was changed from 800 Fairy Dusts to 900.
- Free Land Token was changed from 2.500 Fairy Dusts to 2.800 and from 3.400 Toad Princes to 3.900.
- Suffoclock of Sandy Doom was changed from 5.100 Fairy Dusts to 5.600.
- Giant Crystal Ball was changed from 8.500 Fairy Dusts to 9.400.
- 500 Goblin Gold was changed from 11.900 Fairy Dusts to 13.200 and from 16.000 Toad Princes to 18.200.
- Ye Olde Magick Shoppe was changed from 15.300 to 17.000.
- Greystash was changed from 20.500 Fairy Dusts to 22.700.
- Barfy's Bar w/Barfy was changed from 1.100 Toad Princes to 1.300.
- Skinner Box Kite was changed from 6.800 Toad Princes to 7.800.
- Slithers was changed from 11.400 Toad Princes to 13.000.
- Lord Montymort's Lair was changed from 20.600 Toad Princes to 23.400.
- Count Dracula was changed from 27.500 Toad Princes to 31.200.
- Crawl's Bar w/Crawl was changed from 800 Fairy Dusts to 900.
October 11th Update (Treehouse of Horror XXVIII Patch 3)
- Barfy's Bar rush cost was changed from Act 3 Prize 3's to Act 3 Prize 1's.
- Treestache's Release Prizes were fixed, after Maple Tree, instead of going back to Tree, it now yields Willow Tree and then Small Island 1.
- Treestache's Lair won't trigger event screens when touched in friend towns anymore.
- Shelbyville Manhattan's purchase, after buying Squeaky Voice Peasant, was added back to the store.
- Iron Wall, Gargoyle Wall, Hanging Streetlamp and Spooky Brambles can now be crafted singuarly when placing them from storage.
October 5th Update (Treehouse of Horror XXVIII Patch 2)
- A charity message for the people of the disaster in Puerto Rico was added. The message also aired at the end of the season 29 premiere "The Serfsons" on Sunday.

- A bug regarding the Squeaky Voice Peasant not appearing in the store was fixed.
- Magic School, Charmer's Market, Magic School Ruins, Kearneymon's Alley, Lewd's Bar, Crawl's Bar, Barfy's Bar, Wiggops' Station, Bully-vern's Cave, Burns Dragon's Pile of Treasure, Treestache, Kearneymon, Lewd, Crawl, Barfy, Wiggops, Bully-vern, Burns Dragon and (fake) Lord Montymort won't trigger event screens when touched in friend towns.
- "The Serfsons" Episode Tie-In's temporary jobs are now only active when the quest is active.
- The 4 hour premium jobs (Attend Her Own Convention, Go Where the Normies Go, Magically Enter Raymondo's Home, Lock Lisa Out and Avoid Mauling) payout of the event was changed from 100 Event Currency to 50.
October 4th Update (Treehouse of Horror XXVIII Patch 1)
- Angelica Button and the Mystical Beasts Pt. 2 now correctly rewards Wizard Bart, Wizard Lisa and Magic Act Milhouse. If the user already reached Pt. 4, they'll be rewarded on logging in.
October 3rd Update (Treehouse of Horror XXVIII)
- The ambience music, Splash Screen, App Icon and social icon were changed.
- A Dark Screen effect was added once the event starts.
- New Daily Challenges were added for the event.
- 2 rows of land were added.
- The decorations limit was increased to 10.400.
- The age input and EULA agreement screen now appear above the update download text on installing the game, instead of separate.
- Nature items now have their fall look.
- Magic Act Milhouse's original quest was changed to be startable after the event ends.
- In Weapons of Mass Audio Production Pt. 1, instead of any Rock performance, one must send Peter D'Abbruzio to perform.
- In Freaky Lip Sync'd Friday Pt. 1, instead of any Pop performance, one must send Alaska Nebraska to perform.
- In One Hit Wonder-brick-wall Pt. 1, instead of any Hip-Hop performance, one must send Rappin' Bart to perform.
- In Time Trippin' Pt. 4, instead of any Rock Stage performance, one must send Rocking Otto to perform.
- Casino Performers character group now shows scrolling bar.
- Mary Spuckler and Amber Dempsey can no longer Vote Agaist Stonecutter Law.
- Treestache now ignores the Census.
- Woodchop Pt. 1 doesn't expire after "The Serfsons" Episode Tie-in ends anymore.
- Woodchop Pt. 2 doesn't require to Tap Treestache anymore.
- Pumpkin House now builds in 6 seconds.
- Pet Cemetary, Clawing Zombie and Snarling Zombie bundle and Bad Dream House and The Raven now autoconsume.
- Acorn Kirk and Squirrel Luann joined jobs were fixed.
- Bob's Victorian House can now be built from the inventory.
- Tuxedo Krusty's 12h and 24h jobs were added back.
