What color should I paint my house farm?

I was always a fan of the blue house farm. Eight hour awards worked best for my schedule. I am not sure how the rewards differ between the houses, but I am sure that somebody has that information.

The white house is smaller and more compact than blue or orange houses. For every 3 squares of land, you can fit 32 white houses compared to 24 blue or orange houses.

Blue is my go to. Two* times a day, big pay off, they are compact and look nice.
Edit: I had three, but it's only two :(

I think 12h might work for me. I collect from my wailing walls every 12h right now. Still my mind wants to know the comparative collection rates. I might have to do the figuring out if no one else has already.

I have a variety of about 70 houses and arrange them so it looks like a neighborhood. I also integrate all of the "Where's Maggie" buildings in as well.

Realistically if you're just starting out.... your house farm will be multi coloured until you can afford to buy enough of a single type.

White is my preferred type

Looks great. When I thought farm I was thinking more bunched together, for space efficiency/bonus purposes. My town isn't superb anyways but if I do get it in check I'll try to remember those simple touch-ups.

The Where's Maggie buildings are inside your house farm? That's a worry I had that kept me from adding more color houses. Have a pic?
