I couldn't care less how people play their game. The only towns I delete are the ones that cause me problems when I play. During whacking day house farms were a pain so I deleted lots then. If a town causes my game to crash it gets wiped also but the ones that do are usually those that have been highly decorated. If a town has a house farm at their landing zone I just tap three and move on.
