I think that like with anything it depends on the specifics. I have a few dozen blue houses, as I didn't have a smartphone until the summer and wanted to "catch up" a bit, but I have placed them in the furthest corner of my town. And when I buy more land, I place them even further away.Because I hate when someone has a big ugly mass of them in the middle of the town, but unless you're spending lots of donuts on premium items for multipliers, you need some degree of them to to have a good income.And some people get a little out of hand with how many they have...

I have duplicate houses, I just use different sorts of houses and spread them out.

I think majority (90%) if not all of us had a house farm at some point and there's nothing wrong with it (IMO)

I'm sure most of us early on in the game house farmed to an extent. I really don't know why it would bother people how some choose to play their game.

IMHO I try not to judge other peoples towns by appearance. All of us are usually in the middle of some redesign right?
I played for seven months and never ever had enough money to do anything. One day I decided to start slowly house farming. Within two months I have over 10 million. Obviously the farm will go away but without it I'd be broke. I like being able to buy a bunch of stone walls or hedges etc whenever I want. I tried to go the slow route for months but it wasn't working for me.

It's just one way of playing the game....there's always the option of getting new friends. I am okay with it, had a few house farms early in the game to generate cash and xp, but not anymore as I don't really need them

Jukan: But there are so many characters in this game that it is incredibly simple to get cash now, ESPECIALLY since there's the microscope that was added a couple updates ago.

It's not what I would do, I prefer a more realistic-looking town (well, as realistic as a cartoon town can look), but it doesn't bother me if my neighbors have house farms.

The only time it affects me at all is during special events: if the house-farming neighbor has his landing zone right in the middle of the 'farm', whatever special thing I'm supposed to be collecting can't be collected from those houses, and it's hard to get out of there without accidentally tapping on money.

Still, I figure it's their town and they can do what they want.

No doubt. And the farm will go away. Some days I can't play as much so checking a blue house farm twice a day is ideal for me. Believe me I don't think it looks cool! Haha.
(Some ocd/hoarded issues I have play into this as well and that's something I have to work on personally)
