What happened to the trick-or-treating?

Actually, the way the game has the kids trick-or-treating, is good practice. Three weeks from now, real, live, human kids will trample across our lawn and through my plants. Apparently, someone told them that sidewalks are haunted and must be avoided at all costs. I'm tempted to lay some rakes in the grass for the little brats to trip over. With my luck, they'll miss 'em. Bart and Lisa wandering off the roads is a better reflection of reality than you think.
