In my RTTF town it is now 24.

The following sort of thing is happening to several people, and just happened to me again.

This morning I was at level 23, 11/200 bunnies, yet I had the campfire generating zombies. Martin is telling the story. I tapped some of the zombies and it leveled me up to 24. After syncing, it then switched to 0/200 skeletons! Yet the campfire is still set to generate zombies. I'm not complaining! :)

Just got the Elder Blimp

I'm at level 30 and I've switched to all Brains all the time for now. I'll probably gain a couple of levels because of friend visits and Portal to nowhere.

Level 49 is still the highest......

Level 48. Not grinding at the moment, as I wanted to complete a few of the 14-ish tasks in my task book from skins/premium children. I was at 33 at the start of act 2. My estimate is you can averagely level up every 5-ish hours after 40.

Level 43, now

22, 24, 27 in my A, B, and RTTF towns respectively. And they are all about the same in gummies.
I had the initial glitch of Bart getting stuck at the campfire in my A-town.

Level 29. Only spawning zombies to get more wailing walls, but due to a glitch I still occasionally level up at random times.
