If I can weigh in? I have bought a boatload of donuts before and even if I had to do it again, there is no way I would buy Barney short of him being discounted or him being the last character I need to purchase.
I think it depends on personal preference. Having been a freemium player since I started in December, I purchased donuts a couple of weeks ago - Barney and Otto were my first two purchases. To me it's just not Springfield without them :D- i think you can get all 3 Funzos with those 250 donuts
