I predict that we will get Level 51, Level 52, Level 53, Level 54, some Episode Tie-ins & at least 2 Events in the time frame you mentioned

There will definitely be content updates of some sort.

Personally, I'd like to have a Whacking Day event and a spring cleaning garage sale. I've been playing for almost 2 years and I missed both of those. I'd like to have the opportunity to pick up the items that I missed. Theyve brought so much back, I think it's time for those items to make a comeback.

I'm predicting a "Who killed Mr Burns" event. Complete with Clock Tower and Sundial. Each day a different character will come under suspicion with daily tasks. To the surprise of no one the last day will reveal that Maggie did it with her becoming a playable character.

I think it be good to have a summer holiday theme, could tie in with a major Pride event n "open up" Smithers a bit more, could then bring in the Steelworks with characters, loads of decorations, craft stuff from collected items if a major event, otherwise run it like this yrs Easter n can last 2weeks, easily have both free n premium stuff for it.

Didn't the task relate directly to The Homer - which is a premium item so would give premium payout to associated tasks?

no they're related to Powell Motors.
they already setup a followup questline for it for some reason and the jobs are premium @ powell motors

There's also rumblings of Martha Quimby in the files. So she may come with Herb as the free character.
