Where would you like to have desert badlands?

I think I would prefer a separate map for the badlands - some of the reasons why have already been mentioned - possible lag, the deco limit and the fact that I would like to use my regular Springfield land for the items I already have.
I already feel like I don't have enough land to place all of the stuff I already have. Adding more items for the badlands to the Springfield/SP/SH map may turn out to be a bit problematic in terms of space. I'd like to have a new area that has the option of fully utilizing that space for the items meant to go with it, items that can be used both in Springfield/the badlands and it's own limit for decorations (because the item limit in Springfield/SP/SH only allows for a limited amount to begin with).
That's just my preference, though.
