I'll be getting collector first thing tomorrow morning. I plan to aim for the Times first, but I might get something else first if I have the ingredients and it won't set me too far back on the Times.

It looks like the Times will require six days worth of capes. Wow. I'm going to have to have a lot of patience. Does anyone know if crafting will be available after this phase ends or will it be donut city? There's not a lot of room for error here with only ten days left in phase 2.

I'm going for the hardest first (highest donut cost). I can get the others for donuts if I don't get enough supplies. I'm not lovin collecting things. Too random. :roll:

The Times is a unique building so once you are done obtaining it you won't have to deal with it again, I say go for that first and be done with it.LPNintendoITA says that the crafting won't end right away so it should give you plenty of leeway to earn the harder to get items.

To get everything once I have:

167/175 lockpicks
30/45 capes
18/35 handcuffs

How am I doing compared to everyone crafting at the end? Will I be ok for getting enough cuffs/capes?

Do I miss out on anything (pies,cash,questline etc.) if I don't craft the times?

I would rather have multiples of the other buildings than the times :D

I have a Collector task in my book to craft the Times, but I don't know if it's vital.

I ended getting the apartment, loft, and store first to clear the task in the task book. Now there's a task to build the times building.

Not sure what happens with the tasks, if you build the times building first?

I think at this point I'm just planning on passing on the phone booth and store front and getting 3 apartments, 2 lofts, and the Times.

Total needed for that:

230 Lockpicks
75 Capes
45 Phones
35 Handcuffs

The capes will obviously be the hardest thing to come by... I'm not too worried about Handcuffs because I already have 18 I think, and I have Plopper, so that'll speed things up a bit.

Get the lofts apartments and store front first. They are way better than the times.
After that focus on the times and then on multiple buildings.
