I'm liking it a LOT for the following reason ... It's like a crafting event with absolutely NOTHING left to chance, AND no time limit. Almost every object can be gotten for freemium players ... I am in total control of what I get, and there are many, many things (future as well) that are no cost at all. All that plus awesome "prizes" with each real estate "landmark goal" you reach.
Since its a permanent update, I can treat it as a mini-game" .. If I want to add something to my SH, I just grind for an hour or two and get it. I think of the materials as ingame cash, and I think of the real estate as XP, and I think of the special landmark prizes as FP awards.
If I don't feel like grinding for a few days, or weeks, i don't add to my SH for that period. Just like Krustyland. If I don't want to buy more stuff there, I don't go there.
I'm going to predict that there will be longer tasks in the future in other buildings we will be getting in our quests. :)
