- I voted to get rid of the chance-based prizes BUT I only started playing just before Valentine's day and even as a level 20-something player at the end, I was able to clear it so I didn't mind it too much.
This Easter monstrosity however? It's incredibly daunting, perhaps soul-crushing. cherrysweatr wrote:

Haha I'm glad you didn't witness the Christmas event! You might've just stopped playing this game alltogether - I hate the "chance based" prizes. If I wanted 50 of the d*mn fences and shrubs, I'd gladly spend in game cash (which, for anyone with a high level, has a surplus of and NOTHING to use it on anyway...)
Also, why do I have to get stuck with this crap? Let me sell it. I don't care if you get $1 per fence...Just let me get rid of that. It is so bad, they even JOKE about you getting 50 fences! Really!?
Let's go back to Community Prizes, where we all work together. It could even be 3 levels (maybe 4 or 5 prizes a week we aim towards, or put something on the Fri(nk)ends Points), or based on the color of the eggs. Do something such as, after getting everything from both blue and pink, every 100 or so eggs you get counts towards 1 gold, and those gold go towards even more community prizes.
Come on EA...Anymore "chance based prizes" and the chances of people being happy and sticking around goes lower. How are those for chances? - Yeah I would like them to stop this chance based nonsense, especially when the only other items you have control over obtaining are all premium. I'm a premium player but even I was blown away by the amount of premium content vs cash content available for purchase.

+1
I don't get why people find this so hard to understand. :?
I really like the game a lot and enjoy the attention to detail and humor. I started before Halloween last year and restarted at the end of Thanksgiving. The first town I started with glitched out and I gave up so I could spend some time playing the Thanksgiving event. Not a complaint, did not want to miss everything. My first town recovered but is prone to failure with each major update. No big I now have two towns and can always find something to play.
I really enjoy the game, but I do not enjoy the wheel. Statistically speaking I fell short of the posted odds and did not clear the wheels. I play every day and more than once. I am so disappointed that I must now deal with 3 wheels.
If people want chance then let EA put it in, but give the non-gamblers an option. I will gladly grind it out to get the prizes. TSTO is a getaway, especially at work. I will miss that for the next month. Three wheels is way too much reality. I am already aware that life can suck and Homer Simpson does not need to teach me that.- After playing for a day, speeding up a few tasks here and there (so I'm several days ahead), I have to say that I think I preferred the Whacking Day event over this one. I get the FP side and the easter baskets as incentives of visiting neighbours, but how cool was it last year going to neighbours towns and hiding eggs behind buildings and being tricky with them? Or spelling out words/greetings/names with them? I loved the frustration of collecting all the visible eggs and the tally still saying there were 2 to collect. Ahhh I'm being a tad nostalgic.. but it was fun. But really, bring it back EA, that was the best event, neighbour interraction wise, in my opinion anyway. And much better than this 'chance' prize stuff you've migrated to.
- I just don't like chance based games. Period. I prefer to earn my swag.

Don't we all!
They need to understand if we wanted to gamble, we'd go to casinos, not waste money on a chance to get a globs of pixels lmao!
