Why buy donuts?

I held off buying donuts but when Android got Origin the other day, I bought some. Actually now regret falling into EA's evil trap because at every turn this game gets more bug ridden and annoying. Seriously dont do it. Cant explain why I still bother with this trash, I guess its only the effort I put in keepingme going.
  • If you do buy donuts, please, whatever you do don't spend them on Mystery Boxes or Homer Buddhas! You'll only regret it and end up with $250 or a bunch of white fences and benches.

I get the argument about investing real money in relation to the amount of time you play it; but my counter argument is do you NEED to spend the cash? You can still play for just as long without spending da monies. And will spending da monies reward you in the same way that a console game would? At the end of the day premium stuff is largely aesthetic - it won't change the game; you'll just have a nice building or character to look at. Unless you were planning on buying the Elite Whacking Pass or something that gives you a massive XP boost.

It's your money though dude. If you think that Scorpio's Volcano lair is worth a few bucks or whatever, then go for it. Just have fun!
  • I'm a completist. Trust me, it is not easy parting with the money. I usually only get premiums if they are limited time and usually just before the end of the time window. Case in point: Ninja Homer I am eyeballing for a week or two from now, Lugash's during the last week of the event or whenever Lisa and the beam unlock, whichever comes first. Swanky Fish I waited until yesterday to grab since that was as fine as I could cut it.

The rest? Eh. As I can. I admit I get a gold scratcher once a week though.
  • I bought enough for a few Buddhas. Using the exploit, no need to buy more.

Time consuming yes, but better than paying the rob dogs that are ea.
