Why is Gil around during Halloween event??

Thanks for quick responses! I wasn't about to get all excited because I figured there was a reasonable explanation for him being around.

Yeah, not sure what that's about. But I also did see Gil during COC in a random town I was attacking.

There is a good chance that it's not a hacked game. For the first few Gil Sales, Gil would wonder your town until you accepted the deal. If you opened you town, during the sale, and had Gil present in your town and closed your game and didn't return for months, than Gil would be trapped in your town. It happened to my fiances' feeder town. I tried it with the most recent Gil sale, but sadly it doesn't work anymore

I keep getting logged into the wrong town and Gil is also walking around that town but that player also has 2 million donuts.

Well that player's game is hacked. But not all trapped Gils are there due to hacking.
