No
Care to explain why you think that?Warpt1 wrote:
I have to agree. I wouldn't bother with the Kindle Fire HD
I'm not saying the iPad Mini is better but you get full access to a large range of apps with it. I know the Kindle Fire isn't but is the new Kindle Fire HD was a full blown android tablet? If so, I can see the dilemma.
Of course in six months, you'll probably hate the iPad Mini if Apple does the same thing it did with it's new iPad and release a new Mini in May with a Retina Display and a graphics processor that's twice as fast. :D
You can access the full Android App store with a few small modifications.
I don't need a million different apps.. I just need 10 or so really good ones. :)
The Pinball Arcade is on Kindle so that leaves 9 left. I would like Simpsons Tapped out on it, but I can live without it.Raidsmart wrote:
Knowing EA I would say no. EA may make TSTO for Google Play which is what most mainstream android devices use but the Kindle Fire (HD) uses its own propriety app store so no.
From what I've seen it's not hard to root it to play all Android apps on a Kindle though.tappedoutdave wrote:
My wife just got her first iPad. It's the mini. She loves it and loves tapped out. Grab the mini. You wont regret it.
Thanks for the input. I think I'd get the iPad 3 over the mini. The screen resolution makes a big
difference for me since my vision isn't the best to begin with and I noticed a big
difference between the iPod Touch 3 and 4 (with Retina display).
