And finally, if EA say you can win / earn donuts during the event you actually can, I didn't get one or know of anyone on the forum who did during WD!,
I got a couple of donuts during whacking days.
He means from eggs. You were supposed to get donuts from tapping eggs, which wasn't the case at all.
Yep. From eggs. Only one or two as I recall. Really bad odds.mpwarner wrote:
I hope not. It was too much or a chore; especially leaving eggs
Was very time consuming without a doubt!
I dont really wanna see whacking day for a while, i still have the odd nightmare with whacking SO many snakes, specially when i completed my daughters town in under 24hrs with the help all of teh great people here, that was crazy tapping - If they follow the Halloween template for a future Whacking day, it will be a big improvement. The only thing I truly hated was snake-hunting in neighbor towns, which is why I eventually gave up hunting and fell short of the goals. I was thinking they could hide eggs like we drop gremlins, but the game could accidentally hide the eggs in places where we would never find them. The solution would be a "egg-bomb" like the ghost bomb, which would free all the snakes at once. And having more than 5 snakes in each town is a must - without it, casual players (like I was) will likely drop off.
- I hope not. I hated that event. So much
- There's a lot of hate out there for this event, but I didn't think it was all that bad. Placing the eggs was slightly annoying, but really not so bad once you got into a good rhythm of it. It really only sucked when you had a neighbor who didn't clean out the eggs regularly.
The "hunting" of the 5 snakes was so annoying. But that is an easy fix.
Does anyone think EA could lower it to 3 snakes/ghosts/etc to slow down completion of the events a little? fizzbin71825 wrote:

Ditto. This Halloween event feels like a big improvement on WD. I'm hoping that WD was a learning experience for EA and it will be a less harrowing experience for the players next year. I'd be sad if they didn't do a WD in 2014, but frustrated if it took as much work as this year's. Theoretically, they can play with some ideas during the Thanksgiving, Christmas/winter, Valentine's, and * Patty's events that will all happen before WD comes around again.
