- I'm quite glad the snow has gone, but the timing of this whole event was a bit poorly concieved.
Unless you blasted thru the wheel with donuts it took until pretty much Christmas was over to earn the decorations by which time its time to take them down. I finished the wheel what seemed like ages ago (but it probably wasnt all that long) but I can imagine plenty of people frantically spinning away trying to get the Ice Sculpture or that last snowman just to have it melt 2 days later. They should have started the christmas event earlier, then get rid of the gift bags straight after christmas then leave the snow for a couple of weeks before going vack to normal. But I guess damned if you do........
To the OP, I hope you dont feel like people here are jumping down your throat, different opinions should not only be welcomed but encouraged on a forum, it'd be awfully boring if everyone thought the same thing all the time. I think sometimes people just have a jokey response for a bit of a laugh and the humour doesnt translate through, always tough with text based communications. NeoSEC28 wrote:

Totally agree with the decorating being difficult with the snow everywhere, think they got rid of the snow at the right point this year, compared to last year going on till feb
Till February? That was a long time for the Christmas event, didn't even remember it was that long 8)
And yes, it's very hard to decorate without seeing how the trees look, so I'm glad the snow is gone :)Dannesand wrote:

Well what happened last year was that the Xmas event ended sometime early January but they left the snow and made Mr. Plow and the snowmen available until the valentines update in February.
Honestly i hope the skip the Valentines event this year and do Easter instead.- ZennGlennRising NewcomerDoh :!:
...WellI didn't want to lose the Winter setting so soon & sure wasn't ready for the instant 'winter thaw' ending of holiday season fun... was getting the 'update required' notice & figured it was another automatic short update, not the full system reset of the season; would have been great if a notification came up asking 'if you want to exit the Holiday Season game or continue to with it?'... Missed out on the PlowKing'sPlow and Costington's ;-/
It's nice to see the green, but I hope it might return to complete the real season via more weather updates / snowstorms; Winter setting was really cool (literally). Seasons should fully mirror the real ones by date in my book, and there's no doubt this can be creatively implemented as a theme option for any player according to their global locale, along with appropriate aesthetic seasonal transitions... also, would be nice to have sounds for a couple other characters like Millhouse (his silly uncomfortable groans would be swell)...
