- Could just avoid the name football and have another superbowl event smooshed in somewhere between Christmas and Valentine's.

It's called Football because the ball is a Foot in length. Soccer is the most boring sport ever.
The Simpsons summed it up perfectly. Not sure why people get excited about nothing happening.
In fairness that's not actually true, Football, due to the nature of how it's playe time Etc has much more occurring than your average sports
And I've seen American football, there's a pause for a sub/break like every 30 seconds
Regardless, both sports on their day are decent, as a European I'm preferable to football( soccer) but it works both ways
I'd love a level update like this, but I'd actually honestly prefer one where we also have a character from my football, just Because I think the questline would be humorous- Some people commenting here

We call it American football because it is mainly North America who play that sport and the majority of the world play football (soccer) and L_B_123XD put if perfectly. - Just to add a point, Football (UK) has its earliest mention in the 1200s and was first time the term football was documented was in 1409. This predates the very early version of a carried ball game in the U.S by about 300yrs (1700s), though the more standard idea of American Football didn't come until the early 1800s.
Either way I don't care for either sport, I'm a Rugby man myself lol Determined82 wrote:

Lol! You beat me to it!! I'm a big football fan, as I'm from Britain, but to stop this degenerating into a crazy brawl, I was gonna suggest either a rugby level, or that we all hate on rugby, but let's not do that now!!
Personally, I say Football and American Football. I've got friends who gave just moved back home from America and loved the Foot and Ball, Hand and Egg picture, I'm glad it's came up again so I can show her! I think what we need here is a bit of humour and understanding. In Britain we just have Football, but America have their own sport called Football, so they use Soccer. Football, Soccer, American Football, Hand-Egg, it's all fine.
Those taking part in this argument seriously need to ask themselves if they'd have a big problem with Mum or Mom, Lift or Elevator. Let's both dump France and be friends again!! Lol!!AOFIGO009 wrote:

Absolutely loathed the tap ball event. I want Halloween but give me a couple of weeks down time before it starts as I'm getting close to being tapped out.
