- It's all relative. I started the game back in May, so I was a complete noob when the Stonecutters event rolled out. Without friends or a large number of unlocked characters, I was unable to complete the challenges and collect all the prizes. I found it all to be a frustrating grind. In that regard, the CoC event has been a better event for lower level players.

I think CoC may be suffering from its recentness. Wait 6 months and votes for CoC for being boring will disappear. This is akin to how Valentines 2014 was the worst event for a while. Now it hardly gets a mention.
This is a good point, as events tend to get the most hate while they're running. V-day 2014 was rather lackluster, and may have gotten more votes if it hadn't been so rapidly eclipsed, as many of the things players disliked about v-day were just compounded by Easter (e.g. completely chance-based and rife with decorations that came in odd amounts or didn't suit many areas.)
Maybe I'll run another poll sometime in January.
(Even with the potential bias towards the current event, though, Easter is getting the title rather handily.)- Every day of the Easter event was a frustrating, disappointing grind. It felt like I was playing all day every day on the off chance I'd save enough donuts to buy a Homer Buddha, but each time the Buddha gave me a mystery box that then contained parking lots.
- This is my first and it is hard for me to get all the prizes but by the looks of it better updates have been so oh well.

I actually agree with you here. Stonecutter's doesn't get near the hate it deserves. It suffered from the exact same problems as CoC except the mechanics of the event were worse and the prizes looked even more out of place. I think at the end of the day that players are enamored by anything Simpson's related and more critical of stuff that aren't.neuroheart wrote:

Stop trying to troll the thread. Your other posts in all caps having disappeared should really be a hint to you.
How am I trolling when I'm stating my true opinion. I honestly thought it was the worst event due mainly to the stupid prizes being all COSTUMES!!
I should have voted for Stonecutter's but Easter was so sooooooo bad.
I thought the Stonecutters event was more enjoyable to play, with the riddles and all. The prizes were not great, but it was entertaining to actually play.brickevand408 wrote:

Even WORSE if you spend lots of money in the beginning try to get ENOUGH money to get a chance to have prizes of gold and you make up your mind you stop spending... they give you a chance at the end to buy truckloads of golden eggs... you thinking that you allready spend lots of money you "have" to buy golden eggs caus you calcullated that you allmost open 80 boxes so the best prizes must fal, in to your hands= spending 2 times lots of money....
FRUSTRATION that i dont want to feel anymore, i was close to destroy my tablet
On BF4 with all the stupid lagg is 1 game enough for getting upset
I'm pretty sure we could NOT buy gold eggs.
We could only buy pink eggs and blue eggs, right? And the only way to get gold eggs was in those boxes ... right? At least, that's the way I recall it. It's very possible that I"m misremembering, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't given the option to buy golden eggs. That's why I said the entire thing was random no matter HOW much money you were willing to spend.
And that's why I said that I was still "lucky" to have all the items.neuroheart wrote:

This poll has around 200 voters already. I don't follow all the numbers on forum polls, but that sounds like a lot of people are ... ummm ... energetic about this topic. And lots of the ... ummm ... ENERGY seems to be pointing at Easter. :)- I believe the gold eggs were available for purchase the last few days of the event only - this is probably why you don't recall seeing them.
(I didn't purchase them because I already had everything, but I did purchase some of the blue and pink eggs earlier in the event). annettemarc wrote:

At the very end they added gold eggs that you could buy. I know I bought some and got a bunch of Easter gates. I think that was EA's way to pacify the completist. Of course it didn't really work because the odds on the wheel were not quite right.

Agreed. I thought the Stonecutters had an amusing quest line. Was it my favorite event? No. But I don't have any regrets playing it :)
