- The game has been running smooth for me throughout this event I’ve not even barted (fingers crossed it continues).

Hello, I thought for sure, EA would have given us players a free gift of doughnuts for Christmas, considering how much time the game was down, during the Christmas event.
Must be a personal problem. This event is the most stable the game has been for a long time. - frosted1414Seasoned NewcomerIt was down? I don't remember that!
- Likewise no downtime issues for me either, and with all the Snowkens and Santa's Wonderland tickets I've been picking up a pretty substantial haul of free donuts too.
All that and finally getting the opportunity to buy Andre (a character I've been wanting them to do for ages), and I've gotta say that this is one of the best events for a long time. IMHO obviously. - Willy9292New HotshotMost donuts I have ever seen given out in an event. Daily tasks alone can give 9 a day.

@Willy9292 maybe you remember in the old day when there was an extended outage we were gifted donuts as an apology. I believe that is what OP is alluding to
I do remember. But there had to be an outage. I was just noting that this has been a very generous event. Lots of ways for new people to get some old stuff for daily tasks, and donuts for us long timers too.
Miss the annual Christmas tree, but all in all a better Christmas event than we have had in a while. - I also haven't noticed any down time.
- I stopped playing in May 2017 because the Time Traveling Toaster event aggravated me to the point of quitting. I missed 3 Christmas events as a result. I got back in just before Halloween 2020.
I was able to get enough tickets to get everything in the Wonderland box & am now generating donuts there daily. The event has been a little dull (not a huge fan of this newer low-difficulty event style) but the rewards, to me, more than make this event & a lack of a Christmas gift worthwhile. - wadebearRetired Hero@DkRocks18 : What IS your problem? Seriously - what is your problem? Spinning donut? Can't log in? What?
How to fix almost every problem in the game:- Pull up your App Manager and swipe away all open apps.
- Hold the power button until the device powers off.
- Wait 1 minute. Yes, a WHOLE minute. Go get a cup of coffee or something.
- Turn your device back on.
- Start the game.
As a side issue: You need 9 to 10 gigs of free storage space to play the game. That's where your town lives while you're playing. If you're on iOS you may need more. The town you see on your screen is actually being interpreted from stored memory space. - Pull up your App Manager and swipe away all open apps.
- I have Barted a couple of times, but that is after the end of Act 3.
The app has crashed a few times, (ahem), but that is due to the iPad and the update being data heavy, but that is hardly surprising.
Other than that, this is the most stable update for a long time.
And as Santa's Wonderland Tickets have given me loads of content and now Donuts, I see no reason to grumble, other than, now I'm after Donuts it is less likely to give me 3 tickets, it is one or sometimes two.
