Well if you have billions of $ and is at max level then yes, think it is a great tactic,
but if you only have a million or 2 then I would say it may be better to wait

It is a very expensive way to get donuts, but way not if you have noting else to use all your $ on?

I love it. I make about 2.5 - 3 million daily in my town, and with my in-game multiplier and the XP collider multiplying, about 1 million worth of rat trap trucks will level me up even at the max of 10 million XP. I save up a lot of money, and then grind out 100 or so donuts at a time.

That depends a lot on that you have of premium items and the level of your SH buildings etc.
For me it is a little under 1 million $ for each "level up" that gives 3 donuts

Rat Trap Trucks vs Kwie-E-Marts is the typical speed vs gain.
Kwie-E-Marts gives a higher XP/$ then the Rat Trap Truck, but it has a 4 hour build time.

All you need is a well developed Springfield with some premium items with a % and XP and $ boost.
It kind of bate it self in the tail in the way that the more premium items you have the faster you will gain XP and werefor "level up" and gain more donuts that will give you more premium items that will speed the progress up even more...

As a long time player with a sizable % multiplier, I find that it's only useful to use when a new level hits and my XP bar is reset. When that happens, I do the 3 day/10 donut option. I usually get back my original 10 and then another 8 or so. Not a huge score but every little bit helps.

Within the past year, you had the opportunity to build a tennis court farm, and wailing wall farm to increase your multiplier. If you combine that with a house farm, it's possible to generate over 2 million a day.

Well there's a few conflicting ideas here, so maybe it's as much to do with how much cash you have and your multiplier. Electrofisk, for your quoted billions, do you go up lots of levels? And what's your multiplier?

What about those who quote just a few million?

I have somewhere between 3.0-3.5 million dollars, a multiplier of about 177%, but I DO NOT get anywhere near millions a day. Maybe a few thousand.

Wow...:( I'm soooo far behind...I'm at lvl59 with a 62%....n at 4.5 stars :( is there anything I can do to up my percent??? I also have a couple of lvl5 buildings of SH...

You can find out what % increase the decorations and such give in the store, failing that all the information will be on the simpsonsnwikia, which is a great website with a ton of information, including more spoiler-ish information we're not allowed to post on this website.

As somebody else has already said though, premium buildings give out great increases, but always prioritise premium characters and buildings combos. More bang for your donuts, you get the building % increase, but premium characters give out double payments in XP and Dollars (they also do this with resources at SH , and usually tasks during events, but that is NOT the case this event.
