"Y" Track for the monorail

That's why the "Y" track should be a store item and not part of the normal track making process. Out of the last 21 pieces of track I gotten 1 strait piece, 3 S shaped, 3 half tracks and 14 curves.

:thumbup: Let's have the whole alphabet of shaped pieces, then we can spell out rude words.

You would need to have a switch or it wouldn't work.

Oh look this thread again and the same comment so I'll just reiterate the same reply to to same comment.
Mono = 1
Monorail = 1 rail not track
A track is implying 2 rails of more in some setups.
So a Y splits the monorail into different directions and still remains a monorail.
You can have 50 of more separate trains on the monorail, why's that you ask? Because it's not called monotrain!!!!
Monorails operate the same way as regular rails with splits and Y's ect..

If they added Y-pieces and crossovers as people are asking for, it would lead to collisions because each station generates a train ? maybe?

In the Monorail episode there was one continuous loop with the Monorail going round & round but there were some scenes (where we see bitey possum) which appear to be in a engine shed/maintenance facility so there must have been a split/points somewhere in the system?

If you hand one station on the track you have one train, if you have two stations you have one by goer train and so on. You would never have trains crashing because there would only be one train if the tracks connect more than one station. Because of that you would not need any kind of switch, just the "Y" track. It would be nice to also have some kind of track that would either go over or around the mountain to connect Springfield Est. to Springfield.
