Your Comment Will Appear After It's Been Approved

Happens to me sometimes, always copy my post before posting. Worst case scenario I forget to get rid of the copy on my clipboard and will paste it a 2nd time on a different post.

This happened to me a few minutes ago. I just retyped what I intended to post.

It's getting beyond a joke this now...

First time was when I went to edit a massive post to add more information to something I'd worked hard on, adding colours and lists to help people with something and off it went.... luckily a forum member had a cached version and was able to send my a copy which although still needed work to add the colours back and other bits of BB code, I and other people on the thread asking for it were grateful...

Second time was after I saw this thread, so with this in mind, I was making some big post and made sure I copied to clipboard when editing something...sure enough, off it went for moderation... so i tried adding it again as a fresh comment, but that went away for approval every time I tried to re-enter it... so that is all lost..

Last night I made a post with other useful information and went back in edit mode simply to add an open bracket '('....

That went as well..

The problem with the mobile site is you don't get a preview button and when you're typing and the 'saved draft' bar obscures the part of your screen the text appears in, you can make small mistakes which I can't preview it or check on the original without it throwing me to the top of the page so i post and proofread then edit out... but this is a bad thing now apparently...

Oh well... any mistakes in this rant will have to stay, not typing this again or losing it altogether... :lol:

Honestly this has not happened to me yet. And I'm thankful for it. Because I edit my posts almost every time I post. Well I shouldn't have to for this one. usually when I edit them I have to retype a word that I either misspelled or I remembered something else to add to the post. But every edit so far has gone through without a mods actions. Except when I posted images of the game that are not allowed here. But that's a different story. :D
