Anyway, the counter reached the target, but instead of getting the character immediately, I saw this message:

Yeah. I'm sure you were not the only one to do that. I jumped up to 10B early as well hoping I'd get the cat, the total would reset, and I'd get a second cat once I reached 10B again. Alas, no luck.
