You are absolutely wrong.
You can go look in the walkthrough thread to see a lot of pictures of what you must have ignored. Because I was aware of it, countless others were aware of it. Every instructional box indicated that the crafting would end today at the time it did.
Your tantrum, and your anger with EA, are unjustified. Please don't litter the board with your all caps rants when you are really only frustrated with yourself.
To be honest, I also didn't realize it would end with issue #3… The only countdown I noticed was at the bottom of the "issue" page, and since there was still issue #4 left to arrive, I assumed I had until the end of the whole event to craft everything (the crafting materials have nothing to do with the event currency that changed with every issue, so why would the crafting stop with the issue?)
I went in the walkthrough thread to check what you said, and indeed the end date was given in the crafting guide, but who goes back there after reading it for the 1st time? I also don't spend my time roaming the forum, checking all the posts and warnings everywhere… I just rely on what appears in my game. So yes, it was there, but I think it should have been more obvious, like permanently written at the bottom of the craft items list, just like it was on the issue page. This way, the reminder would have been there all the time and nobody would have been able to forget about that date.
The consequences of this are not as bad for me since I have all the items already, but I wanted to get multiples to build a real "city" and planned to wait until the end to see which ones I would be able to get when the crafting materials were the same for 2 buildings (especially with the handcuffs, as I had less of them compared to the rest).
Anyway, my Zenith City is going to be Tiny Zenith City instead. It's fine, I'll survive, but yes, I am frustrated because I think that even though some people knew about this, we're not the only players who were unaware of the end date. Your answer is very patronizing, and the fact that you knew doesn't mean that everybody else did too. Not everyone reads the forum (but apparently we all should)… Maybe I would have seen the date if I had looked everywhere in search of it. But it honestly didn't come to my mind that this part would end before the whole event did, and so no, I didn't think to go back to the crafting guide to look for a different end date. And as it wasn't written on the actual page that I was looking at all the time (craft items list), I missed it too…
