Are all of your neighbours gone?

You click to go to your neighbours and they are all gone.  What happened?

This is a common glitch.  Things that fix it are:

Wait or

Exit, reboot device, repeat if necessary, or

Go back to your town, try again.

They are not gone, it's just a communication glitch that has been happening for years.  They will return.😊

    Learning how to view your device's Recent Apps screen, and more importantly how to remove apps from that list to close them, is a good thing.
    If the game continues to run in the background any error is likely to persist.
    Fully closing it from that screen helps solve a lot of problems.
