- hey all,
I live in Canada and have been trying to get into the game since 6pm -- it is not 2:59am  and i haven't had any luck so far.
When i first opened it up at 6pm it showed that it was updating it with some new content -- but then after that it hasn't let me even get into my town! it keeps saying "cannot connect to server"
if anyone is having the same problem, please let me know!!
thanks!! - Pkhu- I'm from toronto and I'm havin the excact same problem!!!
- From Australia same problem, began 2 hours after Coll brown house update. Girlfriends account works but mine does not tried using 2 iPads, an iPod touch and an iPhone all to no avail.
- Do you think that the connection could have been disrupted while updating? Maybe it left behind an incomplete update. Try deleting the game from your device, and redownloading it from the store. Let us know if that works.

I have already tried that. I can load the game anonymously but not with my accountxrobotlove wrote:
You can download monopoly hotels and access origin from there. Just force close Tapped Out, download monopoly hotels and in the settings menu you'll see the orange origin logo. Logout, leave the game, and then when you open Tapped Out you'll be logged out.
Thanks for the tip. That worked for me.
Its definitely an account issue. We have three devices, three different accounts. 2 of us have no problem. 1 can not log in. The 2 who can access the game can not visit the one who can not access the account.- update: in the past the solution to not being able to see my friend's springfields would be to start deleting them one by one and the eventually when i got rid of the corrupted friend, it would allow me to visit my friends' springfields again....so i tried deleting allll my friends..and it STILL WONT LET ME PLAY..
ARGH.
anyone otherwise only having a problem seeing their friends -- just needs to start deleting some of them. xrobotlove wrote:

This worked for me. I had tryed all the usual reinstall etc... It allowed me to sign in anonymous. I then figured at that point why not get a start on a new Springfield. Update occurred. Built cool brown house...running Cool homer tasks now.
It's all Origin folks- Ill post my replies from support here. Though they have not helped me fix it yet.

I received that last email 32 hours ago - Hey, thanks for all your answers! Logging out from monopoly sounds like should've done the trick, sadly I tried first deleting the game and reinstalling it, but the servers seem to be offline since I posted the question as for now I haven't been able even to download the game updates, receiving the very same error as when I was trying to log in.
At first I thought that it was some sort of problem with my account, but now (reading all your comments) I'm sure the problem is server side.
Good luck everyone! I hope you have more patience than me because I'm seriously thinking on deleting the game and give up.
