Cletus's crop

Its just the same as tapping on any other building, it just shows the crops because that's what generates money and Cletus' farm doesn't!

At some point in time crops wilt after they are ready to harvested for cash. The amount of time it takes for them wilt varies proportionally to the amount of time it takes to raise them. If a visiting friend taps on your crop it resets the "timer" to zero; this is true even if your crop has wilted. In other words, a friend's tapping effectively gives you more time to harvest that crop before it wilts, which may be important if you're a person who plays only occasionally.
  • Cheer for the replies guys, i think i get it now. So you can only help friends with crop when they are going rotten?

Just to make things concrete, suppose your tomacco crop is ready to be harvested. Assume that it takes 2 hours from the time it is ready to be harvested until it wilts. (I don't know if this is the actual length of time it's takes for this particular crop to wilt; just making it up.) Suppose I enter your town and tap on the crop when the 2-hr timer has 5 minutes left until it expires. This action resets the clock. In other words, I've given you an additional 2 hours in which you can harvest your crop (and potentially saved you from a wilted crop).

Suppose instead that the 2-hour timer has expired by the time I enter your town (i.e., the tomacco has wilted). By tapping on it, I restore it and start a new 2-hour timer.

    Hope that makes things clear.
